Wolverine - Detail

Here's a close-up mug-shot of one of the burliest and most badass of Marvel's characters, Wolverine. Besides his handsome smile, also note that I added blood grooves to his claws. If you don't know what blood grooves are here's a little bit of info.

Blood grooves are those small channels that run the length of sword and have three distinct purposes.

#1) They subtract weight from the blade, making it lighter without compromising stability.
#2) According to a shitload of engineering jargon regarding tension and compression, blood grooves actually make blades “stiffer”.
#3) They look totally fucking cool!!!

So for a guy like Wolverine who makes a living by constantly slashing and stabbing people, blood grooves are a must! So remember kids: work smarter, not harder. If you're going to slash and stab someone repeatedly, make sure you got your blood grooves!!!!
