Another acrylic painting that took 50 or so hours to finish. The idea behind this one is a bit weird. The concept is an artist that traps all these fantasy creatures in small cages, then uses them to make his art by taking an iron, and pressing their bodies flat into his painting.

It's an older piece, but it still gets a good laugh the first time people see it.

A little sick and twisted, but that's how i think...

Daily DeviationHow to... Fantasy Illustration by *No-Sign-of-Sanity is just one of those paintings that I almost feel bad laughing about, but I just can't help it. Toss into the mix that it's remarkably well crafted and you've got yourself a don't-miss piece. (Suggested by ~ImRoGeR and Featured by `silentkitty)

You mean this isn't how YOU make fantasy art? ;p
Oh, and there is a sig there. But that painting is huge and I didn't post a good enough picture of it to be able to really see it. It's where the electric cord meets the body of the iron, but you can't see it so you'll just have to take my word for it. You trust me, right?!! :floating:
No sorry the closest I've come to that is finger painting....then it takes me at least a day to work out which colours to use....:O_o:

Thanks! I worked really hard on this one, way back when I wasn't sure what the hell I was doing. And this was before Photoshop was all the rage, so I had to paint all of the transparency effects of the reflection by hand, old-school style.:work:

Thanks again for the kind words!
No you are awesome! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my goods!
